About
I've spent the past seven years building data systems - from large-scale intelligence pipelines at the IDF to production data platforms and location services at IVIX. Along the way I've led teams of up to 12 engineers, designed real-time alerting products, taught data engineering courses, and shipped side projects in Elixir, Swift, TypeScript, Go, and Python.
What drives me is the dual track: I want to write the code and lead the team. I'm equally comfortable deep in a Kafka pipeline, sketching a system design on a whiteboard, or coordinating cross-team vendor integrations. Give me a hard problem and an unfamiliar stack - I'll figure it out.
Lately I've been obsessed with making development itself faster through agentic AI tooling. I build custom agents, wire up multi-model orchestration, and practice spec-driven development - not as a novelty, but because it genuinely ships better software. Software Engineer - Data Platform
Dec 2024 – 2025- Designed and built a cryptocurrency analytics data platform - end-to-end system spanning blockchain data collection, real-time ingestion pipelines, and batch processing with Apache Spark
- Architected a medallion-style data lakehouse (Bronze/Silver/Gold layers) on Apache Iceberg, with entity models, workflow orchestration, and a multi-backend Writer SDK supporting Spark, streaming, and Polars
- Drove performance across high-volume pipelines - cursor-based memory management, dynamic load estimation, join pushdown optimizations, and streaming CSV ingestion
- Built reusable platform primitives: pipeline manager service, Iceberg table creator with partitioning, schema versioning tooling, and automated CI consolidation
